Get Custom Orthotics For Pain Relief

Dr. Doug will examine your feet and do a Gait Scan Analysis to identify why you are experiencing foot pain. He might recommend custom orthotic inserts, hands-on manual therapy or both. Dr. Doug has years of experience fitting orthotics for patients.
A Step-By-Step Guide To Getting Custom Orthotics
Custom Orthotics - Step 1
If you want to use your health benefits coverage, please call your insurer and get the answers to these 3 questions BEFORE you book your appointment:
Can a Chiropractor dispense my orthotic?
Do I need a MD referral?
What is my coverage for Custom Orthotic Inserts?
Call us if you want to proceed after speaking with your insurance company.
If you are paying out-of-pocket, proceed to step 2.
Custom Orthotics - Step 2
Orthotic Exam Appointment.
(The Orthotic Exam fee is $55 + The Custom Orthotic fee is $450 with a $225 deposit)
Complete the form that will be emailed to you in your confirmation email. Dr. Doug will examine your feet and look at your them in motion on a computerized force plate. If he determines that a custom orthotic would benefit you, he will make a foam cast of your feet and send that out for the custom orthotics inserts to be made at a professional lab.
Custom Orthotics - Step 3
Follow Up Orthotic Appointment
(Remaining balance of $225 to be paid at this appointment)
You will receive a call from us letting you know that your orthotics are ready. We will have all the required insurance paperwork ready and dated for this day of orthotic dispensing. Dr. Doug will check the fit of your inserts and explain to you how to get used to them.
To Note:
A minimum of 2 weeks are required for the manufacture of your orthotics. Paperwork, dispensing of the orthotics and the final payment must occur while you still have insurance coverage, and cannot be pre or post dated.
Orthotic and Orthopaedic are not the same items.
If you are interested in shoes very few plans cover footwear and you will most likely have to go through a pre-approval process which can take weeks.
Direct billing to insurance is not allowed for orthotics.
